Manny Mason of the Yonkers Neons proved that you can step out of the shadows and onto the stage if you've got the talent and the drive to hone your skills. Hard work, long hours and a tireless resolve paid off for him today in the form of the Sub League 2 Outstanding Hitter Award.
Mason hit for a .326 average while collecting 137 hits, 46 doubles, 1 triple, 37 home runs, 91 RBIs and scoring 94 times.

Vicente Castillo of the San Bernardino Crabs had a fine season this year and today he accepted the Outstanding Hitter Award for 2023.
The 27-year-old right fielder put up a .328 average and a .393 on-base percentage, piling up 155 hits, 31 doubles, 7 triples, 40 home runs, 134 RBIs and 91 runs scored.

21-year-old Francisco Medina of the Paradise Flies put together a good year in 2023 for such a young player. Medina was named today as the winner of the Sub League 2 Outstanding Pitcher Award.
Medina crafted an impressive 13-3 record and a 2.25 ERA. In 187.2 innings he allowed 148 hits, struck out 151, and walked 40.
