This year's outstanding rookie has been chosen and the honor goes to Arizona right fielder Ricky Henderson Jr. He received the 2023 National League Rookie of the Year Award for his consistent play and solid numbers.
He finished the regular season with a .292 batting average, 37 doubles, 5 triples and 1 home run. The 21-year-old Henderson Jr also had 47 RBIs and scored 58 times. |

Jemke van Buuren is respected by most Arizona Diamondbacks fans for his no-frills style of play. The 27-year-old center fielder went about his business with vigor last week to grab the National League Player of the Week honors.
He compiled a .500 average (11-22) with 3 home runs, 8 RBIs and 3 runs scored.
van Buuren currently has a .347 batting average with 196 hits, 23 homers, 101 RBIs, 104 runs scored and a .423 OBP.
