| Breaking News |  | Monday, July 31st, 2023: SL1 Player of the Week Selected
Eli Conrad burst onto the Sub League 1 stage in a big way last week. This promising rookie catcher for Osage garnered everyone's respect by putting up some remarkable numbers and picking up the Player of the Week trophy.
The 20-year-old haunted opposing pitchers hitting .476 (10-21) with 3 home runs and 13 RBIs last week.
Conrad on the season is hitting .337 with 11 home runs. His stats include 64 RBIs and 72 runs scored. |
| Wednesday, July 26th, 2023: Rice 6-10 Against Birmingham
No matter what Birmingham pitchers threw him today Nick Rice hit it. The 27-year-old Osage center fielder racked up 6 hits in 10 at-bats today against them at Wrens Ballpark and spearheaded the Cattlemen to a 9-4 victory.
N. Rice struck out in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 7th, singled in the 9th, grounded out in the 11th, singled in the 14th, singled in the 17th, hit a solo-shot off J. Unknown in the 20th and hit a three-run home run off S. Johnson in the 21st.
Thus far in 2023 Rice is hitting .292 with 7 home runs, 44 RBIs, 77 runs scored and has compiled a .355 OBP. |
| Monday, July 17th, 2023: Osage's Goraldo Gets SL1 Player of the Week
José Goraldo is respected by most Osage Cattlemen fans for his no-frills style of play. The 30-year-old right fielder went about his business with vigor last week to grab the Sub League 1 Player of the Week honors.
He compiled a .429 average (12-28) with 6 home runs, 16 RBIs and 8 runs scored.
On the season, Goraldo is batting .326 with 30 home runs and 92 RBIs. He has played in 93 games.
