Is anyone going to Dresser, WI for Memorial Day

I am planning to attend and was wondering if anyone here was heading there for Memorial weekend. Let me know and we can perhaps hit the trails.

I have thought about going there, but I like to wheel and not sit in line on the trails. I hear its rather entertaining to see what people pull out to drive there.

We might head to either Gilbert or Appleton that weekend.

Also this summer I plan on checking out the appleton minnesota offroad park that just opened fall of last year. I might alternate fallcrawl there and gilbert if its decent.

So sometime this summer we should plan a appleton run.

from what i've heard, Dresser's waaay too crowded for my tastes. sure would be up to see what Appleton's like some time this summer! Very Happy

I'll be at Dresser for memorial weekend. I go every year. Where do you usually camp? I should be in Blue.

If you want to enjoy dresser without the crowds, join the MN4WD Association. You can go in August and again in September and it is only open to certain people such as the MN4WD Assoc and WI4WD Assoc and a few other. Not a lot of people there - plus it is a lot cheaper.

But I like to go Memorial Weekend. You get to see some "interesting" things. PLus things have improved there as far as the event management. A few years ago - it sucked.

I would call the city of Appleton or the county that it's in and ask if it's open or if its flooded because I went a few weeks ago and the half that is for trucks only is under water and closed and the other half that has some truck stuff was open but still was a little flooded just warning you.
