no oil comes out of your valve cover breather? usually they are mounted slightly higher so the oil can drip back in and oil doesn't drip out Idea

Got the 5.12's installed into the front diff, reinstall the front diff. Need to fill it up with gear lube, buy a few bolts for shackles, and driveshafts and then I can test her out.

Well tracker rear is 100% in, front is in with 5.12 gears. I still have a few small things to do before I can drive it down road or go wheeling but at least its finally very close.

I have to say I cant believe how much difference the 5.12's are. I have had a samurai with 4.62's but man before I fixed the carb I was about to die in my yard I hit the gas let out the clutch and the front wheels came off the ground.... Shocked Not sure how major wheeling will go but the little bit I drove around my yard I can say 5.12's rock!

and the annual photos of my rig on the zuknation.net rocks of course
Laughing

Those rocker panels bring a tear to my eyes. Please get some rock sliders before any serious wheeling.

Today it was cold out... she wouldnt start but I had to prime it because I have very, very little gas in the tank.

Also after sitting so long she is going to need some running to burn out those carbon buildups and stuff. I drove it around the yard again, and then down the dirt road 1/4 mile had it up to 4th seemed to run pretty good. I'll let her idle in the drive for 10-15, and will try to start her alot this winter.

I really havent road tested but down my dirtroad and in 4low around my 5acres. No bad vibs that I can tell, I did use my rear samurai driveshaft but I will need to get a spacer before I can really go crazy with it. If you set your rear pinion angle you wont have much for vibs.

Come spring I will replace the old rusty u-joints.
