OK ya'll know what happened when the wife laid the Swammy on his side...

Well I got a new body.

after stripping it down to a bare shell of a body I get to start from scratch to build a mild hunting machine

I degreased the fire wall, primed it with a white primer and then hit it with a can of Krylon OSHA Orange

Then I stripped Swammy down to the frame

Well here is an update:
This is my home made Rag joint eliminator. two steering shafts welded together... loe buck CBE here.

my home made steering colum with removeable steering wheel.

This bottom corner was mostly rust and Bondo. So I plated the corner after cutting the rust our and mounting a flange on the outside of the body.

The outside flange, one identical inside and bolted throught the body panel.

Another bracket for the shoulder bar.

A completeted X brace with shoulder bars in place.

As it sits with the Passenger seat in place.

The top of the X's has 3/16th plate formed to match the contour of the body's roof, and will have a plate on the outside to match and it too will be bolted together. I plan on running Isolator bushings between the body and the exo cage.

Unfortunately, I had to cut it all out. I didn't realize I'm a FAT ASS... And the seat was to close to the steering wheel. So it sits now waiting. just not really motivated to do anything. to much BS, and other projects...
