So this is a small issue I started today... here is what I started with.
Then I cut it all out
Then I grinded it down alittle. So what im thinking is soon as I get paid on friday running down to the local welded and buying some tube thats thick so its strong, and fits tightly inside the holes and basically run it through the frame inside the stock tube there.
Then im not sure if I will make a bracket for the steering arm, or just run a bolt through the pipe (like a shock mount basically) and weld it in place.
So that this can go in!!

Got the new bracket/crossbar in. Still have to weld it but its in there pretty good, after that I can get steering arm attached and then I can get the ZOR Bumper on.

Today I welded in the new tube, then trimmed off the stock hoop/bracket for steering shock and welded it into postion. Bolted the steering shock onto it and I just need to clean it up and paint.

No photos today, but I got my front brake lines drop brackets done. Had some issues welding so the welds arent that great but it should hold. If not I can always grind them off and redo. |

i like that bumper too. how does it mount to the truck? so many people have super tough bumpers bolted to half of the chassis leg which is only about 2mm. OR like me you buy a bumper and go to use it and
it peels apart like a bannana
so now i stick to building my own stuff |

MIne mounts the same but comes with spacers to go between frame around bolts for extra strength. |

Well since it was 60! outside sunday I got my ABS door panels on the zuk. The old owner cut the door on the bottem for some stupid crappy speakers, so I will have to patch that up later.

That looks pretty good. My door panels are ratty, I think Im going to pick up a sheet of abs to try that out |
