Hi, i am new to the site, i just baught my first suzuki...and vehicle actually and was wondering a few things. I baught it for a project till i get my license and need a few pointers on putting in a floor, like what thickness of metal and some good ideas and tips to do so. I can weld too and know a bit about some things on them, the floor is pretty much completly gona too! And would like to know if anyone know anything about putting 4 door suzuki suspention on a 2 door to lift it? Ive heard a few diffrent things and was wondering if that would be the best way to lift my suzuki a few more inches to fit bigger tires and to do some off roading.

Oh man, after living on Ft Drum for a few years, I had plenty of floorboard problems too... My sujestion would be to use at least 16 guage steel, and reinforce the seat base area. I used 1x@ rectangular tubing for that.
As far as lifting John here would have the best answers. myself I would go with a SAS (solid axle Suspention) they have kits, and it uses a Samurai axle instead of the independant that comes stock. _________________ <div>I had to stop driving, My tire started to get Dizzy</div><br>

Thanks alot, another question too, what would you do for the supports that hold the whole body up in the back by the rear seats and in the front by the seats, it has a piece of rubber there between the frame and floor? That is all rottwn too.

I use to use old conveyor belts. As long as the mounting points are good you should be Ok... as far as the back seats well reinforce those like the front.. I use to build like a box frame and weld it to the body sub frame (or the inside part of the rocker panels.. if you have picks it would help us so that we can see what damage we are dealing with. I have an Idea, but I want to make sure. _________________ <div>I had to stop driving, My tire started to get Dizzy</div><br>

Then I lifted my tracker I went with a coil lift and it was well worth it. I got the 3.5 inch spring lift for a four door tracker and put them into my 2 door tracker, the springs are stiffer and will help with sag if you add heavyduty bumpers. You can also flip your strut mounts and use strut mount spacers, they do make coil spacers but save your money and go with a spring lift. Look at some of the fall crawl photos and you will see my tracker lifted on 31x10.5's _________________ Free to list! Free to sell!

Ok, sounds sweet but im not really looking for a rediculous amount of lift, id was looking at the calmini 2in suspention lift, what do you guys think of them? And putting 235/75-15 on for tires? Ive heard that 31's burn your clutch out fairly quick and you need diffrent gears, i dont really want to get into it that much yet as its the money and my first vechicle.
would you be able to tell me a good combination of lift and tires and whats need to use them? like any diffrent gears or anything?

Iwouldn't know, I am using a Sammy clutch and it is about an inch smaller and I never had a problem when I ran stock gears and 31's As far as Calmini? well I really had a bas deal once with there axles and a warrenty issue so I never went back. Have you looked at ZOR or Low Range, or Petraworks? _________________ <div>I had to stop driving, My tire started to get Dizzy</div><br>

You will have to have an acount like what I have at photo bucket. Upload your picks to that, then use the menu obove the comment box to post the pick.
With photobucket, all you have to do is load the pic and after words move the mouse to the thumb nail and a small menu pops down. click on the image it will copy it and then past it in the comment box.
At least thats what I do. John had to explain it to me a long while back. _________________ <div>I had to stop driving, My tire started to get Dizzy</div><br>
