Yes thats right Very Happy I saw the add on craigs list and bought the engine. I dont know the year so I need to find some information on the number decoding.

I paid a wopping $125.00 for the engine. It came seperated. What I am missing is the front timing cover, exhaust manifold, distributor, and the top part of the intake. Will need new head bolts and cam bolts also.

I bought this on wednesday night and by fiday night I had the bottom half dissasembled and at the local speed shop to get the block checked out and crank freashend up if needed.

I dont think I will have it bored and decked since I would like to have leeway for future machining if needed.

I dont think I will be lucky enough to go fuel injection with this due to the cost but will not rule it out.

I am really excited to hear back from them. The block looked good I a must stoked to hear that it will be.

Well not v6 good by any means. I have been checking around and the fuel injection mod is freaking expensive so if I find one in a junk yard then I will be working fast to get it out so I think I may still be carburated but looking at motorcycle carburation.

Have seen Zack talking about turbos. Not really needed off road but kinda nice on the way to and from may out weigh not having one.

Just got off the phone. It looks good. Had the crank polished, chylinders honed, and now the block is getting decked to true it up.
I am looking at $230.00

They asked when I would bring the head and cam in. I told them it would be awhile I had to save some coin.

Hopefully the block will come back clean also.

I have known these guys since I was born. I used work for them on the weekend fixing what their techs did during the week.

Well the cam shaft finally got done and some other little things were done and when it left the machine shop it was close to $500.00 total spent there but I am also adding the gasket kit with that.

I got the intake/fuel system, dist, ecm and wiring harnes from another zuker on another site.

I also ordered a set of bearings and rings from Zack Lee Motors on the 15th.

Still waiting on all the parts Laughing When they get here I will be busy at work again Laughing

Now I am broke but that seems normal for me at this time of the year.

Will try to take some pics tomorrow of the bits and pieces all purdy.

Got a box today and a package showed up.

My east coast parts showed up. I expected more then I reread my email and I got exactly what I said.

Still worth what I paid.
